For Christmas 2015, Mon Petit Art was invited by Le Bon Marché – Rive Gauche to the Galerie Imaginaire. For many years now, Mon Petit Art has sold its creations in the iconic store situated in the 7th district in Paris. Nevertheless, it was the first time Mon Petit Art could expose them in such a place:; a great challenge!
Here we are, in a beautiful space to fulfill with imagination, many colors and a touch of magic to invite visitors to enter Mon Petit Art’s world… In a magic forest, between two shining stars, our creations found their place in an enchanting Christman decor.
We realized our installation only with Mon Petit Art creations; there were no other products or material. The objects dialog in a refined universe, all black and gold… ready for a walk in the Galerie Imaginaire?
This impressive origami ball has more than 600 cranes, all realized with Mon Petit Art’s origami papers. A meticulous work, achieved thanks to a lot of patience… and love ! Family and friends all participated folding all those cranes. This huge multicolored ball, suspended at the entry of the Galery Imaginaire, attracted people look all over the store. It seems to fly in the air, by some magic spell…
The kit Secret Garden includes 3 pots to decorate. Here, we multiplied the pots to cover a whole table! A magic forest? A floating garden? A mountain of plants? Vines and foliages interweave in this beautiful composition.
On a golden gateway, the Haute Couture models wear beautiful outfits, in a real fashion defile. Their dresses were imagined and realized for the occasion, only with elements of the kit: fine silk paper, shiny iridescent paper, sparkling stickers…
Suspended to the ceilings, the little cages of the Bird House peacefully swings… we added golden branches to give to the scene a magic effect. On an another table, the Pikados stack up in a huge wooden bowl, that reflects on the golden table. Those wooden toys, created by artist Gonzalo Arbutti, get together like burdock’s seeds.
